This work will further test Nashville to Knoxville Internet egress failover and failback capabilities, as well as InterVRF routing services through Knoxville.  CR-2429 will be implemented on 

Part 1 – Nashville to Knoxville Failover Testing Sunday, July 11, 2010   2:00 AM Central –  6:00 AM Central

Part 2 – OIR Failback Testing Tuesday, July 13, 2010  2:00 AM Central – 5:00 AM Central

Part 3 – Failback Testing Saturday, July 17, 2010  1:00 AM Central – 5:00 AM Central

End site impact is as follows for each part of this work:

Part 1 – Nashville to Knoxville Failover Testing Sunday, July 11, 2010   2:00 AM Central –  6:00 AM Central, Private Colleges and Universities (PCU), Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), Libraries and Local Governments (LLG), State of Tennessee Office for Information Resources (OIR), State Department of Education K-12 Schools (K-12), Community Health (CHN), University of Tennessee (UT), and Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) end sites will experience a brief impact of up to 15 minutes as Internet access and InterVRF routing services move to the Knoxville egress.
There may be degraded IDS monitoring capacity and OIR shunning capacity while using the Knoxville egress.  Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) and eHealth (EHE) may experience a brief impact of up to 15 minutes as InterVRF routing services move to the Knoxville egress.

Part 2 – OIR Failback Testing Tuesday, July 13, 2010  2:00 AM Central – 5:00 AM Central, State of Tennessee Office for Information Resources (OIR) will experience a brief impact of up to 15 minutes as Internet access and InterVRF routing services are restored at the Nashville egress.

Part 3 – Failback Testing Saturday, July 17, 2010  1:00 AM Central – 5:00 AM Central, Private Colleges and Universities (PCU), Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), Libraries and Local Governments (LLG), State Department of Education K-12 Schools (K-12), Community Health (CHN), University of Tennessee (UT), and Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) end sites will experience a brief impact of up to 15 minutes as Internet access and InterVRF routing services are restored at the Nashville egress.
